Supported by a modern and secure technological infrastructure, which will provide to all its close clients a range of professional Commercial services, including but not limited to Cargo, Booking & Transportation, Financial and Asset Services.
In less than two years Segaline has a team of 11 people, who all share the vision of its founders and is set for further growth.

The S&P and Finance Department is involved with the Ships’ Sale & Purchase market, Demolition market and with the provision of Financing to our Clients.Our team does its very best in order to ensure that our Clients’ needs are met; from the moment they express their business ideas & plans, until the moment they complete their transactions, with successful deliveries.Our priority is to ensure that our Clients are satisfied and their interests are protected with the highest level of service provided.
We are in close contact with Brokers and Owners Worldwide, in order to ensure that our Clients receive correct and timely information, as well as market insight for the majority of the available tonnage, which is either openly or privately marketed for sale.
Our Dry Cargo and Commodities Dept. covers mainly Handysize, Supramax, Ultramax and Panamax Bulk Carriers and cargo chartering on a worldwide basis focusing on spot and time charter period chartering, as well as contracts of affreightments and trading consultancy. Aside from strong connections with shipowners, the department has also built up a high level of commodity expertise in working with first class charterers and renowned traders active in the shipments of various bulk cargoes, not only confined to coal, iron ore and grain carried by the larger vessels, but also to many of the minor bulks such as bauxite,petcoke, cement, clinker, steel products, fertilizers, sugar, metcoke, and aggregates among others.

We provide assistance with a wide range of issues in the trading of commodities, such as the international sale of goods.
We have experience in acting for Traders, who use ship chartering to export and trade good across the globe.
Matters such as Charterers’ liability, insurance claims, dispute with disponent and registered owners arise and we help clients understand better the risks involved in the complex position of a charterer, who enters in a contractual relationship with a shipping company and other commodity traders.
